How is it possible that Israel is “allowed” to act against human rights while pissing on conventions, starting with the one from Geneve? True, the official Tel Aviv has a support from Washington, but why is Israel by a rule always seen as a victim that is “just defending itself”? The explanations is quite tricky and sensible. Americas abject subservience to the government of Israel has led us into deep complicity in Israels shocking air and ground military assault on 1.5 million defenseless human beings called Palestinians who are crowded in a hellhole called Gaza…one remains already amazed that human beings could survive in that hot, humid land covered constantly with a heavy blanket of dust…and now bombs and tanks. Remember, apart from Hamas and it’s fighters there are people like you and me there, schools, kids, teenage couples, students, families, even good looking girls (some might have big breast, too)…think of bombing me, for example, not just some faceless “people” you retain…”others”.

This “others” could not escape, because Israel long ago converted Gaza, a tiny coastal strip adjacent to Israel and only the size of an area you drive through in minutes across and a few hours along…”depends on the traffic”, into a miserable outdoor prison. Shoah comes to mind inevitably. Inmates are effectively locked down around the clock, except for a few injured who are permitted to seek medical care in Egypt. For 18 months they suffered from an Israeli blockade. Food and medical supplies dwindle dangerously. Even before the assault, electricity was intermittent and food supplies dangerously low. The number of infants, children and  young mothers delivering in unhuman conditions that died due to lack of normal living and medical care conditons during last year and a half is difficult to establish, and even more difficult to pubblically announce, as media is not in favour of exposing such theme, protecting the “untouchables”.

Eighty percent of the inhabitants of Gaza are victims of Israels illegal expansion into Arab territory in the Jewish states early history. They, or their forebears, fled into Gaza as a place of refuge when they were forced by Israeli military units to leave their homes in what is now Israel. and again Shoah inevitably comes to mind.

As I write, 5hundrieds of Palestinians have been killed and over 3,000 injuredmany of them women and children. It’s not over, as I write new israeli attack is taking place. The pretext for this most recent assault on Gaza are homemade missiles launched by Hamas supporters in Gaza that occasionally hit a nearby Israeli village. The missiles caused four Israeli deaths, a few injuries and some destruction. These bombings are also a lamentable violation of international law, but they hardly justify the massacre Israel has inflicted on Gazans.

The plight of Gazans intensified when they voted to power several years ago members of Hamas, a political organization that Israel helped bring into being years ago as a political counterweight to the PLO. Hamas developed into a large, independent and popular organization that provided needed social and other services before emerging as a strong critic of Israels mistreatment of Palestinians. The leadership proposed an extended ceasefire without response from Israel.

The moment Hamas gained authority in a free and fair election, the U.S. government began conspiring privately with Israel on ways to reverse forcibly the electorates decision. So much for the democratic process. But we are used to this.

I state that the spate of homemade rockets does not give Israel either the moral or legal authority to punish the entire population of Gaza.

I get surprissed when I hear Us. goverment representatives stating that Israel had no choice. But americas political structure and most of american media are bereft of balanced appraisal… and almost all the Members of Congress toe the Israeli line and express supportive words.The Palestinian death toll measures in hundrieds with over two thousand seriously injured. In contrast, less than ten Israeli soldiers were killed and a handful injured. Only Aljazeera television has kept the Arab world fully informed with regular glimpses of the true extent of death and injury suffered by Gazans.

The American people, largely unaware about their governments subservience to Israel, are unwitting partners in the inhuman brutality being inflicted on the people of Gaza. The fighter planes, helicopter gun-ships, tanks, and missiles used to visit death, injury and destruction upon the Palestinians are gifts of the U.S. government. In the UN Security Council, only the United States opposed a call for an immediate ceasefire. Without Americas unconditional military and political support, Israel could never carry out the destruction of Gaza or its humiliation of Palestinians in the West Bank and other war crimes. Americas indifference to the plight of Gazans makes me wonder if american citizens have lost all capacity for moral outrage.

If you wish to find out who is really responsible for Israels scofflaw behavior and war crimes, you might have to look in the mirror.

And she still stays up very late most nights, a habit that is proving to be quite tiring with a beautiful nine year old daughter to attend to.

You might think that the modern media – television, video, internet – would provide the perfect tools for Pauleena to promote her image across the globe without ever having to leave her door. But that’s forgetting the time she spend on the road as a fashion model before and as an Anekee Foundation’s Testimonial now-a-days. If real art lies in simplicity, then this species is a masterpiece. Its minimalist perfection consists in managing to keep itself alive by using only one neuron.

He doesn’t know Unix: all of his needs are rigorously queued by him one behind the other, first the biological ones, then those psychological and of relationship, following a path scheduling the execution of one task after the other. When Homo Mononeuronicus eats, he eats, when he drinks, he drinks … when he has sex, he just has sex, one thing at a time … a perfect creature in mono sound (a stereo sound might well confound him, but he doesn’t like difficult music, as his music is also working in mono sound) … his system crashes no sooner than his environment requires him to activate more than one neuron. Then it goes haywire at once since it has already reached its peak in the self-maintenance process and can’t then perceive other people’s problems. This is no egoism, as one often mistakenly thinks, for real egoism is an act of cleverness, whereas here it¹s the system itself that is not responding.
Homo Mononeuronicus is not aware and I just can see that from his dull eyes (here’s the reason why I’m wearing all these sunglasses: to protect myself from the disturbing invasion of his external impulses), from his idiotic look, from his incoherent, upset, and arrogant manners. This race obviously can’t change, for it doesn’t examine its own attitudes, given that it just can’t do it. He doesn’t care about activating a second neuron, this would be fatal to his species since Responsibility has already started when the second neuron gets activated, whereas having just one active neuron means that you can comfortably remain unavailable for the others. Ah, the others … struggling with millions of neurons activated … yes, what fools they are in trying to make sense of their existence and, ah, may God bless them, they have to experience emotions and feelings, poor devils … they did ask for it, of course. Homo Mononeuronicus is kept from fears, anxieties, and other annoying things that might make him appear sensitive. As a matter of fact, in the night he turns off the one neuron he has, so he doesn’t even run the risk of dreaming. He changes from zombie into resting corpse.
